Hygiene has been trending, so to speak, due to the coronavirus, meaning UV boxes are more popular than ever.
These gadgets use ultraviolet lights to sterilize phones, keys and other small belongings, and, as stated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, this radiation has been used for decades to reduce the spread of bacteria. What’s doubly great is that it can be done while a person is working at their desk or even driving in their car. There are also UV wands, which can be waved over items, in order to disinfect them.
According to Philip Tierno, PhD, a Department of Pathology professor from the New York University Langone Medical Center, the the UV light spectrum is made up of UV-A, B and C lights, and it’s UV-C that can kill germs; specifically, it destroys the nucleic acids 
of bacteria and other microbes.
All of these products also come in a variety of colors and feature an imprint area on top. This allows brands to show off their logos, all while promoting safety, wellness and cleanliness.
Some of these UV devices even offer wireless chargers, countdown time settings and aromatherapy. There are a variety of reasons to hand them out and give them away to employees, clients, fans and customers, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
